September 24th:
We have repaired our servo motor and have been working on our code. Currently we now have all the ultrasonic sensors functional and they are obtaining data. According to our timeline we will need to have the perpendicular parking done by next week and we are currently on track. We've been testing some of our code to see if we can have the car track a wall without hitting it, and when it gets close to hitting it we want to see if it steers the oposite way and correctly it self to a safe distance. We've tested the car and 3/5 times it has worked wonderfully as shown in the two videos below.
What these video show is the car tracking the wall with the right motion sensors. As soon as the car detects a large enough space, roughly 24 inches (or 1.5 x our current car)), it stops, shown in the photo below.

We are working on finishing up our perpendicular parking next week.
