Edwin Huertas
Hola, my name is Edwin Huertas and I am a senior student of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology program at Valencia College. I was born in Colombia more specific in Bogota. After living in a couple of different cities in Colombia I finally moved to Tunja (Boyaca) where I was studying Agronomic Engineering at the Universidad Pedagogica y Tecnologica de Colombia until 2004 when I came, along with my son, to live in the United States.
But, I am not only a student in this College, I am also part of the staff who daily contribute with the mission College. Indeed, I have been part of Valencia since 2006. One day when doing my job, I decided to ask how I can start taking classes and since then, my adventure began. Before starting with the bachelor program I complete two AS, one in Computer Engineering Technology and the other one in Electronics Engineering Technology.
Ryan Hodges
Hello! I'm Ryan Hodges. I am currently pursuing a Computer Engineering Technology Degree at Valencia College. I am born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Yes, a native! I began my college career at Valencia College in 2003 pursuing a degree in chemistry. I obtained a B.S. in chemistry in 2007 at the University of Central Florida. Afterwards, I decided to pursue a career in computer engineering. Having grown up in the 80's when computer began to become popular, I a passion for building computers and setting up networks. Afterwards, I developed a love for technology and the development, assembly, and troubleshooting of it. Hopefully after obtaining this degree I can move onto obtaining a masters degree in computer engineering, or possibly starting a career in the industry.
