Week 4

This week we made progress yet also took a step backwards.
The progress we made was by purchasing small extenders which allowed for us to mount the ultrasonic sensors more efficiently. What I mean by that is that the sensors are more solidly attached and it allowed us to make build the car a little more vertical so we could rearrange the setup to allow better mobility. We also extender the fender a little more which allows for an almost 40 degree turn radius.
The figure below shows our new setup with all of our ultrasonic sensors attached

The picture below shows the new pillars we ordered to help build the car up a little to make space for other components.

However, with the progress we also had a setback. Our servo motor died. We cannot figure out why it happened, we just know it's dead. Two more servo motors have been ordered, one to be used in the car and the other to be used as backup.
Until the servo motor comes in, which it should come in this friday, we will be working on programming logic as much as we can.
